I think Andover's best player is going to Joe Mauer's old high school. I think.

Would that be #12 to CDH?

It's not really bantam players as most bantams are 8th and 9th grade. Transfers must be completed for 9th grade in order for a player to be varsity eligible in 9th. Otherwise it's JV for a year. Or, they can play their second year of bantam in the association where their new school is located.

The question is, which bantam players are switching schools for 9th grade?

Saw most games in Two Harbors in last weekend and too much of Andover. #12 can be dominant and their center (#?) seemed to control the games. Both were impressive together and wonder if his staying put next year or moving on too.

I believe the center (#11) is already a 9th grader who attends CDH; and #12 (an 8th grader) is considering CDH or TG for next season (just what a heard from a reliable source). #12 is evidently a very impressive football player too.

seems simple for the kid then unless he needs to be the big fish at TG.

Or maybe #12 for Andover will go to Andover HS?...Who knows?...What I do know is he recently shadowed a current student at TG to check out the school....and the source I talked to indicated he is considering CDH too.

Hermmunster, did you mean "big fish" as in best football player? Because both schools have solid football programs.(both were blown out in the state semis)

puck, no disrespect to Tg. It seems odd they wouldn't stay at andover since the hs had a good run this year. Back to the topic, no rumors of any one significant north of Cloquet taking the private route.

Unless hockey wasn't the main factor for deciding which school to attend....

Which number is Bret Huebner for Andover.

His dad played baseball in the day at Wisconsin and I was told to my face by Andover hs parents that Cretin was almost sure the choice because the baseball is as important.

What grade is he now? 8 th or 9th?

If he is the 9th grader then he is #11 according to the thread above. If #11 is a better baseball than hockey player, the Cretin baseball coach should jumping for joy. What I saw of him in regions he is one heck of a hockey player! Good luck to the kid!
