Underdogs, Miracles, and Emotional inspired in the Tourney
This Tourney has been the year of the Underdog. Teams that were unseeded ended up winning that weren't supposed to. The top dog Hounds we toppled, Crimson tide has receded. Wildcats tamed and Hornets Buzzed. Cougars showed there age. The Spuds had you thinking maybe just maybe they'll get the gravy at the end. None of that will happen. Not this year.
Maybe we will see an undefeated season from the boys in Hermantown if they don't pull a choke job. Will they be like the New England Patriots and lose the biggest game ever or like New York Yankees team in 2001 when everyone emotionally wanted them to win. What about when Rocky knocked off Apollo creed to win the championship?
We know that for the big boys it's either going to be the Red knights or the Pioneers wearing the gold. Is it a Miracle or some sort of divine intervention or some have mention 2012 may even be the end of the world as we know it.
How much do you think emotional inspiration plays into determining miracles and who really wins and loses these games? Is it going to be a happy ending when it's all over? You gotta love this tourney, really anyone has a chance. I'll be pulling for Hermantown and BSM. Hope to see the good endings for once. A perfect season and Jack holding up the trophy at the end.

Couldn't agree more. It has been quite the tourney, one for the ages. After an unprecedented begining I'd like to see a fitting end to the tourney of '12.edinahornets10 wrote: I'll be pulling for Hermantown and BSM. Hope to see the good endings for once. Good ending vs. Bad Ending.
Yeah the story sounds great, but what if Hill Murrary and St. Thomas win?
Is it going to be like the end of Empire Strikes Back? Kinda like it just ends a down note. Maybe depressing for some, but I guess real life has it's way of being like that.
I mean really it's just another game and another year. I think really it just adds to the memories. Because when you look back on this you'll prolly either be like meh just another tournament or yeah that year was pretty special. Either way I hope it's a memorable ending to say the least.

Well yes it is real life and it is a game, nobody knows what will happen, all the players and fans are well aware of that. I don't think it would really be considered depressing if it doesn't turn out the way we want it, it would just make a much better story if it were to end with a perfect season and a trophy for Jack and the team. The Jabs story has gone nationwide, it would be a great end to the very unfortunate injury he suffered.

I don't think there will be a loser tonight...I love Jabs and hope the Knights do well but let's not forget Bo Pieper and how much the Pioneers want to win...he is honary co-captain and is loved by all as well and his story is inspiring and tragic at the same time with the future uncertain...no haters tonight please...let's just hope for a great show and enjoy the game.north_bear wrote:Well yes it is real life and it is a game, nobody knows what will happen, all the players and fans are well aware of that.
