I agree. The crisp passes aren't being made and though they're getting plenty of shots they are all coming from the perimeter. I would had liked to see Eagan challenge the Moorhead defensive zone play a bit more.. Maybe a quick give and go and a drop of the F3 into the open slot.karl(east) wrote:As great as Bitzer has been today, I will say this...for all its front-end talent, Eagan just doesn't have the coordinated passing and teamwork East does. A number of East's goals that game were of the sort no goalie could stop. Aside from Merchant's open net in the first, Eagan hasn't had many such opportunities.east hockey wrote:Watching Bitzer and wondering how the heck East got six by him in their game.

Congrats
Congrats to Moorhead. I hope the Spuds can beat Hill Murray tomorrow.
After this game, I'm reminded how great it is that Roseau won't have to face Bitzer anymore.

He is one very good goalie. MOST GOOD COACHES PLAY THEIR BEST GOALIE AT PLAYOFFS EXCEPTION BEING THAT DANDY AT GRAND RAPIDSRoseauHockeyFan wrote:Congrats to Moorhead. I hope the Spuds can beat Hill Murray tomorrow.

Funny. I remember saying something similar when the Rams had Mike Lee!RoseauHockeyFan wrote:Congrats to Moorhead. I hope the Spuds can beat Hill Murray tomorrow.

I was at the X all day watching upset after upset, as for my CATS, they played well, outplayed Moorhead mostly but didnt connect on a couple golden scoring chances early in the game and after that Bitzer took over and shut us down. Congrats to the Spuds on redeeming last years loss. As far as I see it they will go as far as Bitzer can take them. I cant wait to go see the semi-finals tomorrow at Mariucci, a-hem, I mean consolation games...Go Cats, we still got some hardware to take home !!UntouchableFlow wrote:Where is HappyHockeyFan? I'm sure he's got some elaborate reason as to why Eagan lost today, and my Pioneers won.
It's not the Best players, it's the Right players! HB
