Breck probably hopes Peterson pulls a Hanowski and disapears just Hano did 3 years ago at State. As for the Lasron comment, he and Jr. might be the weakest links on this team
Agree wholeheartedly with the former. Larson was a deer in the headlights last year when Kinny gave up 5 in the third period. They blew what may have been their best shot at another title. But I heard Jr. got a job from the goalie's dad.
DM 8, Breck 6

Time to see what Judd Peterson and the Hilltoppers are made of! I would love to see them send Breck to Mariucci.

Breck. Both teams lost to STA in OT, but I'm sure those who saw both games would tell you Breck.

Marshall doesn't look half bad 5-on-5. They have three lines that can hang with Breck. A few nice chances near the end there. Penalties are killing them, though.

Yes. Special teams killing DM. Brecks got 3 very good lines. Breck goalie looks sharp in 1st period.

Marshall looking pretty good to start the 2nd, though Peterson should have finished on that breakaway.
Another big difference in that first period, according to the shot chart: Breck had 5 shots in the slot, Marshall had zero.

3-0. Kenny has been the difference thus far. A pity since DM has been stronger in the second.

The 4th goal was probably the killer. Marshall has played better than the score indicates, but they blew a few chances near the start of the period, and Breck started to take over as the period went on.
Unless Marshall can bury one or two right away at the start of the third, it looks like we'll get another yawner.
