I think who deserves to be on it are:

F Kloos
F Besse
F Hurley
D Gross
D Schurhamer
G Franke

Connor Hurley is the only one who I have not seen on previous posters list and am sure he won't make it as he is only a sophomore, but he is as good as any forward I've seen all year. Played fantastic in the section final. Hope the Gophers land him...

BSM's Besse and Horn were standouts last night.

Hurley for Edina.

still wrong... Sampair is a forward and same with Krueger.

That being said, halverson is better than many of those players you listed.. Besides Gross, all of those D play very weak schedules compared to Wayzata.
According to hockey hub,
#18 Krueger Defense, Prior Lake
I can not speak accurately if he plays only D, but the games I watched this season, he lined up as a d-man, and is listed as a d-man on the roster

And you are correct on Sampair, I meant to include Heinrich

I agree on Hurley. I favor Opperman slightly over Besse

Quick correction Nelson from edina is just a junior, Edina has only 2 seniors Nick Leer (Forward) Connor Beaupre (Goalie)

Why cant we talk about "Franke?" Doesn't deserve to be talked about?

If he doesn't deserve it then who does? No one in the metro area has a better track recored then Franke does. The kid has been ask to USNDP, played in the elite league for two years, and im sure he has been all conference his 4 years hes played. To also add he was in the section final 2 years in a row with not very good teams. Finally he has had above a .900 % every year he has played.

He probably will get it haha, but also need to consider Malvin, John Dugas, and Kyle Koop

yeah you consider those goalies, but lets be honest didn't put up numbers like Franke did with an average team. I like to add also he is putting up numbers like this season .922 save % at a height of 5'7".

So your saying that if melvin, dugas, or koop were at that height and on an average team would psot above .900% every year? come on man the kid deserves every bit to be on that team more then any other goalie in the metro.

As big of a fan as I am of Dugas, he isn't the best goalie in the metro. I go so far as to say top 5, but not the best. Good crop of goalies graduating this year and I think he could have a good shot at it next year. Franke is very deserving of first team all metro, and truly got robbed of the Frank Brimsek award.
