Out of State Player Eligibility

Post by 1970GTOJUDGE »

Can a player that lives in a border state play on a team from Minnesota? This would be at the Bantam age if that matters? Thank you in advance for any comments. Not happy with the organization that we are playing in.

I don't think there are any AAA programs close enough to us. We are west of Minnesota. Thanks for the response.

There is a waiver process for kids to play from other states, I remember seeing it outlined in the Minnesota Hockey rules, but I don't remember exactly what it is. It seems it was more extensive than just getting a waiver to play for another in-state association.
