? about Denfeld. I've seem them play in 3 tourney's this year. They haven't placed higher then 4th in them. Stillwater Red has beat them twice by 2 or 3 goals each time. Now I haven't seen then play after the Edina tourney. Have they played any of the top teams and won. I don't think they are a bad team. Just not that great. Or have they really picked it up in the last month or so?

In District 10 I would give the nod to centennial over Andover in the Championship game for the #1 seed. Andover is down to 9 skaters right now. They are injry stricken. If Elk River comes to play like they did the first 2 games in play offs they may lose to champlin park on Saturday. It all comes down to who wants to win the elimination games in district 10 anything is possbile.

STATE TOURNEY
Duluth East
Denfeld

Saint Cloud
Wayzata Blue
OMG Crimson
Edina Green
Edina White
There are some top end talent playing in the BB1 regions. The Woodbury group has a bunch of top end kids but do not know how many are first or 2nd years. Based upon their size I would say most of them are 2nd years.
District 6 and 3 are loaded with really good players. This includes players from teams that did not qualify for Regions.
Denfelds top line is as good as any in state. Physical but can really play.
But OMGHA Black and Wayzata gold are very evenly matched. They have played eachother 3 times both winning one game and then tying the other game. so should be a very good solid game tonight between those two teams.
