Tough day at the rink for the Eagan boys, Jefferson played very well but our defense played terrible. Good wake up call late in the season but will probably have some have some consequences come State Tourney Seeding time. Oh well, I wouldnt want to be Burnsville this coming Thursday...

I was at this game and it looked like Eagan took their foot off the gas in the 3rd period and Jefferson made them pay. By the time the Jags tied it up they had so much momentum I thought there was a good chance they'd pull the upset. Hernon (sp) from Jefferson had a great game and scored 4 goals. Eagan themselves had a player with a hat trick in Will Peterson. Although his name didn't come up much on the scoresheet in this one the best player on the ice was Will Merchant, IMHO. He's an animal in the corners and has that extra gear that not many players can get to.

Sounds like Minnetonka had the same problem today.

The Jags have had Eagans number late in the season. This year they came back and scored 5 in the third. 10'-11 Jags score three unanswered with 8 minutes left in the third to come back. 09'-10' come back in the third again to win 3-2. Baby Blue 8)

Looks like Burnsville survived, maybe the wildcats need to get their act together.
