YouthHockeyHub: Roseau PWA Preview/Prediction/Blog

Post by YouthHockeyHub »

My scientific formula breaks down the Roseau Tournament (haha):

We look for Waconia to advance rather than the popular choice of Wayzata...the other 3 pools are pretty easy.

We plan on supplying live scoring throughout the tournament.

Good luck to all teams this weekend and safe travels to the metro families.

YHH - Will you be in Roseau ? I'm wondering how EGF looks they probably won't advance but I'm thinking about Regions.

YHH

what do you have against Hermantown?

Is it a opponent thing or an outstate thing. I think they are going to win Roseau. You obviously know a lot more than I do when it comes this stuff.

My 4 is

Edina-stillwater is OR
Wayzata-waconia is whack
lakeville-ep is fading
hermantown-they have horses to win it

ht over lakeville in chip

lakeville will beat edina, lakeville has edina's #
ht will beat wayzata, no contest

im a d6 guy and think that pl is the best team, with the best player.

@PW33 - not in Roseau, but have connected with Tournament Director for live scores (you never know how long that will last). Waconia was up on Wayzata 2-1 after 1 this morning.

@BenD - our formula doesn't care what district or zip code you are from. 1/3 popular poll, 1/3 T10 wins, 1/3 strength of schedule. We recently added "recency" to the formula to see what it does and not much changed in any of the 9 levels we keep data on.

Cross your fingers the TD keeps feeding me scores. Roseau as a rule of thumb is poor for posting scores.

Lakeville South must have really took it to them. Wow 11-0. Roseau over Woodbury suprises me as well.

Looks like Freddie is up there...he has all the scores on a different thread.

I am getting texts from the Tourney Director, so our site will be updated all weekend.

Just heard EP has 3 kids missing this weekend (concussions).
