Here are some scores from this morning (Friday):

OMG over Raleigh 7-1
Rosemount over GF SugarKings 9-2
Pembina Valley over Andover 6-0
EGF over Sibley 2-1
GF Wheatkings over Roseau 8-1
Farmington over Chaska 7-2

A couple of non-tournament games were also played on Thursday night:
Farmington over Roseau 8-0
Raleigh over Rosemount either 7-6 or 7-5

OMG over Sibley 6-5 (shoot-out win)

Wayzata over Roseau 14-0
Fargo over Farmington 3-2
GF Wheatkings over Bemidji 6-2
Pembina Valley over Rosemount 6-3
Chaska over TRF 7-2
Roseau over Bemidji 3-1
Chaska over Fargo 6-1
Wayzata over GF Wheatkings 9-2
Raleigh was up over EGF 6-1 3 minutes left in the game when I left the rink

Winners will play for championship, losers play for 3rd

Correction:
Bemidji beat Roseau 3-1, not the other way around.

Also forgot to add the following scores from Saturday:
Raleigh over Sibley 3-2 (shoot-out win)
OMG over EGF 5-3

How did FaRmigton make it to the top 4 (what was their route)?

The tournament brackets were poorly setup. In one side of the bracket they had 4 legitimate top 10 teams in one pool and Wayzata in the another pool with 3 teams who wouldn't crack the top 50.

Predictably, Wayzata is stuck playing 3 not very fun blowout games, outscoring the pool in their 3 games 33-2.

Meanwhile, Sibly doesn't win a game, losing three one-goal games and twice in shootouts. EGF, another potetntial finalist goes 1-2 in a Pool with Sibley, OMG, EGF and Carolina.

On the other side of the bracket, Farmington, Chaska and Fargo tied at 2-1, while Pembina Valley won the critical game in their Pool with Rosemount. Neither bracket had a Top 10 team in it.

Farmington won a shootout against Pembina Valley, (Farmington won 5-4) with most of the game being played in their zone, so they are off to the Ship with Wayzata (who beat OMG 3-2).

OMG had a 2-2 tie going with Wayzata when the official called an interfearance penatly away from the play with 2 minutes to go. Wayzata cashed in. OMG will play Pembina Valley in the 3rd place game.

Congrats to Wayzata and Farmington for playing the cards they were dealt and getting to the final. Any way you look at it, it's a great Tournament and a great time in Roseau!

How did all the teams place?

I don't believe there was any overall ranking of the other teams . . . just the pool play formula to figure out the top four.

I'm guessing there are differences of opinion as to how the other teams would be ranked.

(haven't figured out the emoticons)
