Having picked a 3-3 tie for MV-CDH, I'm personally rooting for the 4-4 score. :?

One of two scores from tonight is in:

Roseau 4, Crookston 1

For the first time this year three contestants - D16Dad, hockeyfan87 and yours truly - picked up a bonus point from a single game.

With the Elk River/Eden Prairie game still not reported, here are our point leaders:

1. mnhockey3535 - 5 points
hockeyfan87 - 5
3. MNHockeyFan - 4
D16Dad - 4
sinbin - 4
6. Seven tied at 3
13. One with 2

This morning's Star Tribune paper edition shows that Elk River/Zimmerman and Eden Prairie tied 5-5 last night. There is a box score so I'm going with it. Since nobody predicted a tie the point totals shown in my post above are unchanged and are now good through Thursday.

The only possible exception is if Mounds View and CDH actually did tie on Tuesday (as reported by the Star Tribune paper) instead of MV beating CDH 4-3 (as is still being shown on minnesota-scores.net). The Hub has yet to show ANY score for this game, two and a half days after it was played!

Confirmed MV beat CDH 4-3, I was not at the game, but heard from someone who was, and the possibility or a coaching change at MV?? any else confirmed that.

I did receive a message from another forum member who was at the game, and this person confirmed that Mounds View did win, 4-3. So the 4-4 score that was published in the Mpls. paper was incorrect...

So I think we can FINALLY be assured that all results and scores entered onto my trusty little spreadsheet - through Thursday - are correct!

Good luck to your favorite teams tonight and tomorrow -

minnesotascores.net is reporting:

Warroad 6, East Grand Forks 0

Everyone had Warroad winning this game, but only Nordic guessed the score! Assuming the 6-0 score is correct, here are the updated point totals heading into tomorrow's grand finale:

1. mnhockey3535 - 6 points
hockeyfan87 - 6
3. MNHockeyFan - 5
D16Dad - 5
Nordic - 5
sinbin - 5
6. Six tied at 4
13. One with 3

Great finish to a great week! Some real battles today and this evening. It appears that all scores are now in and here they are:

"Super Saturday", December 10
#4AA Edina 1, #3AA Hill-Murray 2
#11AA Eagan 0, #10AA Lakeville South 6
#20AA Irondale 4, #5A Mound-Westonka 1
#5AA Minnetonka 0, #2AA Benilde-St. Margaret’s 2
#17AA Wayzata 3, (NR) Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 2
(NR) Centennial 3, #13AA Blaine 1
#6AA Stillwater 1, #8AA White Bear Lake 1 (OT Tie)
#16AA North Wright County 2, (NR) Buffalo 0

There were five correct scores today, including three in the 4-1 Irondale/Mound-Westonka game. FlyingWarrior got the Wayzata/C-E-C game; D16Dad the Edina/Hill-Murray game; and the Irondale/Mound-Westonka game was nailed by Silent But Deadly, ayhfan and woogieboogiewoogie.

:: Drum roll please ::

sinbin had a big finish today, predicting the winners in six out of eight games and edges out four others to win the Week 4 trophy. A big CONGRATS to sinbin!!!

Barring any mistakes in the reported scores, here is the final standings for Week 4:

1. sinbin - 11 points (10 of 14 winners + one correct score)
2. Silent But Deadly - 10 points (9 of 14 winners + one correct score)
hockeyfan87 - 10 points (9 of 14 winners + one correct score)
woogieboogiewoogie - 10 points (9 of 14 winners + one correct score)
D16Dad - 10 points (8 of 14 winners + two correct scores)
6. MNHockeyFan - 9
mnhockey3535- 9
ayhfan - 9
9. Two tied with 8 (includes KRACH)
11. Two tied with 7
13. One with 6

Again, congratulations to sinbin!

Look for Week 5 to be posted shortly...
