Why would you say that ? Look into their record and who they played and that might explain it.

The real deal when they played together 2 yrs ago as squirts and real deal this year.

I know their skill level. I was curious since Elk River was #1 before and it was written normal... I think I might have seen a faint firework behind the BOLD Prior Lake.

Just suspicious....

PL beat Elk River Monday night so I think they are in the right spot, although Lakeville South is tearing up everybody they play.

The Packers

I have seen them play, I believe they got beat in that game by OMG.

I have seen every team in this top 10 play, take your top 5 and on any given day each one can beat the other. There is no clear standout team this year, each team has it's own issues from lack of depth, size and goaltending.

Good Luck

OMG - yes FIRST game/scrimmage of the season it appears.

And "each team has it's own issues from lack of depth, size and goaltending"? The few teams I have seen on the list are every bit as good with respect to depth, size and goaltending as those that represented PeeWee A's in the state tournament last year.

Time will tell, good health to them all and it should be a great season and state tournament showdown.

Go Pack Go and I'll take south in this group.

I'd very much like to see how Stevens Point, WI's Pee Wee A team would fair against the top teams in your top 20. I know usually WI association teams can't skate agianst top teams from MN but this team is different. They took their "A" team down to the Nike Bauer tourney (usually only Tier 1 AAA teams play in that) and did really well against top competition. They have easily the best individual player in the Midwest on the team (same player who lead the Brick in points and scoring this past summer.... yep he's a 2001 and he's better than any 1999 I've seen so far and I've seen a bunch between all the different seasons). Those who know my posts know I have no connection to Steven's Point at all not even from anywhere even near there but I've seen them play several times, seen their scores against Tier 1 AAA teams they've played. Just would be really interested to see how they would or would not fair against sopme of MN's best teams. It's a very rare, rare thing for a WI assocaition team to be that good, I'd be curious

Would you really like to see it?

You're saying that the kid is better than any 01- 99 in the midwest? Not trying to be sarcastic, but you really need to get out of Wisconsin...... The kid does dominate against most 01's

I've seen the Point kid play at the Caribou this year and he is excellent but the 01 Machine Orange stopped him from putting in his typical 5-7 goals. They put a body on him after he hung 1 or 2 on them and he was out of luck. He is brilliant on the ice for his age.

Woodbury and Lakeville North should deserve consideration too in top 20s.
