Blaine vs. Edina
3-3 Tie today for my 2nd favorite team, the Bengals. Congrats to Blaine for sticking with the Hornets. Between Anoka and Blaine, 5AA won't be a cake walk for Coon Rapids...

Very impressive that Blaine (unranked) was able to stay with and tie Edina (ranked #3AA). Edina outshot Blaine over 2 to 1. I think Blaine goalie saw 50 plus shots. Physical game. Edina in big and strong, moves the puck well.
Blaine should be proud they tied this one, had the lead until 38 seconds left in the game. After Blaine gets their line combinations down, they should have good scoring power. All 3 goals tonight were on the PP.
NW Suburban will be strong this year.
Edina Player was taken off on a stretcher 1 1/2 minutes left in overtime. Hard to see what really happened. Hope she is OK,
