Tryout results in LPH

Post by LPH »

With the youth hockey season just around the corner and with tryouts wrapping up, Let's Play Hockey wants to give you the opportunity to promote your new team(s) within the pages of LPH.

E-mail your tryout results to us at editor@letsplayhockey.com and look for your team(s) in an upcoming edition of Let’s Play Hockey. Feel free to also include any photos or other stories from your team/association. The deadline for the next issue is 10 am on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Let’s Play Hockey is now publishing weekly, so look for your submissions in upcoming editions.

This is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. Let's let the teams actually accomplish something before having the Dad's gloat about things. Rediculous

I don't see any problem with team previews in an early season issue of LPH. As long as the focus is about the program and not individuals there isn't anything I can see that is objectionable.
Be kind. Rewind.

The point would be to start some type of dialogue around here. At least Silent has a sense of humor. This board without a sense of humor is just no fun. Lord knows Mr. D has yet to write to LPH, we all know that's yet another chore left to Dmom.

On a better note, we have had some recent move ins to our association, one of the mythical goalies and a very friendly and attractive Florida family. Probably OTC friends who have heard so many good things about the area

What's going on up there? Are you invited to drop your keys into a bowl as you enter the rink?

Gives new meaning to the 'parent mixer'.

How do we go about recruiting an attractive Florida family for our association?
Have you scheduled a couple more away tournaments?

You'll have to get an evaluation sheet from the western suburbs that includes the column for ranking the mom 1-10. Which will mean, if you've got a bubble player, it wouldn't hurt to hit the eliptical a couple times a week.

This is a problem in this house! I was just about to head to the gym last night when the oldest money burner came in with a broken hockey stick and he said he HAD to have a new one by TODAY. Mr. D said I would have to take him as he was already taking #2MB somewhere. So, with a small amount of sarcasm, I asked him how he would like to pay for the stick, "with my good looks." OMB was listening and said, "I had to get them from somewhere." Needless to say he is a proud owner of a shiny new stick  I hope Mr. D was paying attention. 8)
