A Note on the 99 Blades Thread

I have deleted the recently-created thread on the 99 Blades.

This forum has long operated under an "unwritten rule" against naming youth players' names. While I do not think it is my place to categorically ban all such activity, the deleted thread showed exactly why this rule exists, and why it has many merits. While a poster might display a player's name with no ill intent, intelligent posters on this forum are well aware of how easily innocent comments can be later spun into an attack.

If you'll forgive me for sounding like your child's teacher (or your teacher, for the younger members of the forum): we need to be aware of the potential consequences of our actions.

If you have any further questions about this incident or anything else related to moderator policy, please send me a PM. If you think that you/your family/your organization is being exposed or defamed beyond what is reasonable in normal debate and criticism, I would suggest messaging the admins or myself before launching an angry vigilante defense that may only throw more fuel on the fire.
