Unfortunately very few on here will attend. We (myself included) will complain and toss out our 2 cents on everything, but few will attend and speak up. For various reasons.

CDALE,
I agree with your statement, it is very easy to go on any message board and complain. To get changes made or information correctly meetings at all levels should be attended and questions asked. At this meeting they have set aside time on Saturday specifically for the peewee checking issue.

Yes these meetings can be long and also can be boring when certain subjects are discussed, but this is also a time to meet many of the Mn Hockey board members and ask questions or find out how you can present your ideas and who to present them to. Below is the Sunday agenda and further down the committee meetings and times, they will be held in one place.Peewee checking is slated for Saturday 10:15am.

Alright, I'll step out of my comfort zone and be cynical for a change.

What difference will it make if one of us shows up and expresses our concern regarding the peewee checking change? What difference would it make if all of us did so?

Too late

Had a large number attended the April meeting showing concerns while the USA Hockey President was there would have made an impression better than no one at all. There were only a few non board members attending and I was one of them, when I told them many were concerned the next question was,"Where are they and why aren't they here." A large number of people there would have been helpful to back those who fought to have this delayed.

This weekend will be informational on the peewee checking I would guess.
