Yes that is true; that's why people don't like HM, Edina, East, etc...

However, I do not dislike the Yanks for being successful; nor do I hate the Canadians for that reasoning either. Plus I am a Wings fan as well. They're among the greatest sports franchises in the world; which is why so many fans hate them.

BUT I do dislike the Yanks because:
1. The Twins have a V E R Y hard time beating them. It's very frustrating.
2. They spend money like it's a bodily function so they mostly always have a stacked line up.
3. Most Yankee fans (not including you... I think ) are arrogant, d-bags.

2. Sort of true, though they have developed their share of stars through the system over the years, and locking people up to 10-year, trillion-dollar contracts does have its downsides. And they do draw in the most revenue of any team, and have owners who have been very committed (sometimes too committed...) to putting a good product on the field. (Contrast that with the Twins during the Pohlad years; the guy was many times richer than the Steinbrenners, but put very little into his team.)

I was first going to say all MN teams are like that; however, Ziggy did sign Minnesota Chubby and some other higher paid players for the Vikings. So they're turning around along with the Twinkies (don't get me started on Mauer though ).

Win or lose, I actually really don't care about the Vikings. Matter-of-fact I only watch football for my fantasy team. Hockey, golf, and baseball for me.

I've definitely heard of Macho Man, and probably seen him in many things; just never put it all together.

Finals went well. Not all the grades are in yet, but I'm satisfied with the ones I've seen. And as much as I enjoy DC, it's always nice to come home to the quiet routine of Duluth. I've slept incredibly well ever since coming home. (Despite of the threat of the world ending...)
