Great!! Gotta love seeing BSU getting some recruits. I'm assuming he is Ben Kinne's little brother who also plays for them but sat out this year due to a stroke he suffered over the summer. The Exiled One wrote:...according to Heisenberg. I couldn't find an article with the announcement.

They like quality players that choose them haha. They do try to recruit Minnesota players but very few seem to choose them so they recruit the junior leagues very hard. I can't think of any players on the current roster who didn't play juniors somewhere. Hopefully the move to the WCHA and appearing in the Final Five will help them get some recognition from the Minnesota talent out there. The new rink should really help too.youngblood08 wrote:Glad to see them grab some "In-State Talent" they sure like the Canadian boys.
Congrats.

Bob more than likely will be playing Juniors also. According to the Recruit Website posted earlier, he is listed as a recruit for 2013-14 season.
BSU likes recruiting the junior leagues and has some decent pipelines out there. You get a more mature player and they have, usually, two extra years of development under their belts. As a Beaver fan, I have no problem with it. It is within the rules of the NCAA and other schools out there do the same thing.
I am also happy with how the Beavers have done in the classroom. This past year, all but one of the players eligible for the WCHA All Academic Award made the list. When they were in the CHA, they consistently lead the league in member on that team also, usually every eligible member.
