How many Edina kids on the 98 and 99 Fire?goaliewithfoggedglasses wrote:What happened last year then? Funny but as I understand it that team had a lot of MM kids too but they were only average.Pucksahater wrote:The model to follow is the Minnesota Made model, almost all of the Edina squirts As have been and currently being developed at the Made. Not cross ice games at an association practise. Maybe USAH or FL should adopt the model at Minnesota Made, What do u think about oldie.

As far as I know there isn't a 98 or 99 Fire team anymore. There's a 2nd year Peewee (don't know if 97 or 98 ) who's family was very involved with the Fire that came back to the Association this year but that's all I know of.InigoMontoya wrote:How many Edina kids on the 98 and 99 Fire?goaliewithfoggedglasses wrote:What happened last year then? Sounds like sour grapes from a guy who thinks his kid is too good to be a 3rd liner. You should get together with DMom who also seems to think she knows how to cure all association ailments and also is obviously in the FL association. Just glad I'm not in FL with you -- wouldn't want to be in the way of you 2 hockey geniuses creating the next D2 champion.

I am guessing that people like Irish Skater & Dmom have never offered to coach or serve on an association board. They would rather stand in the corner of the rink or up in the stands & take shots at the coaches/association. They will be the first to fire off emails to people or whisper in people's ear how bad things are, but yet, they will never offer to step in and change things. Their committment is solely to their own child. I'm assuming they will open their checkbooks each off-season so their child can play in camps/select teams and may even complain what those programs are doing wrong.
