Congrats to Lakeville N & Section 1. The section takes a beating every year (for good reason) but LN did the section well during the Tourney. Nice run by WBL. You earned a section title by beating HM and proved you belonged on the big stage with a great game against DE. Now go away for another 5-10 yrs. I don't enjoy the tournament as much as when the Pioneers are in it.

That kid has been hearing that for a long time. To be honest I dont know if its 100% true anymore.mnpuckster wrote:Not trying to take anything away from Mac,
He scored the biggest goal in program history. (maybe debatable)
But to be honest, he isnt on Birki and Wahlin's level as a HOCKEY player.
Great HS player, and a great season.
well considering your all time prediction record, I didnt really count youGoldfishdude wrote:sachsie....I predicted LN to win 7-2 .. I gave them a shot.... today...sachishi4 wrote:congrats north, no one gave you a shot. great showing at state for lindgren

I also heard that he wasn't sure if he wanted to play past high school. That info may be different now but we will see. I hope he finds somewhere to play.mnpuckster wrote:Maybe. maybe not
Just my opinion I guess.
We will see if he gets any options at the next level.

Wow. Where to even begin! I want to congratulate North on a win, but it's kind of difficult assuming how the 4 stripes on the ice decided this one. I mean, let's be honest. 18 penalties!? Three 10 minute mis conducts!? Two bench penalties!? One penalty on Majkozak for saying something to the officials! My favorite was when Wahlin was going 1 on 3 shorthanded, get's slashed, no call and the bench gets a penalty. I mean Wahlin was clearly showing the officials his wrist after the slash... This was as pathetic an officiating game as any I've ever seen! North had three 5 on 3's in this game. The officiating completely took WBL off their game, and changed the whole complexion of it. It's just really sad... Alright I'll stop whining now, but come on!
To be fair, North played much better as the game went on. They were playing more aggresive as the game went on. I suppose being on the PP for two period doesn't hurt, but they have a great netminder too. He made some really good saves. Congratulations on winning the consolation championship.
