How does someone on this board NOT know who Dave Spehar is?

He or she would have to be younger than 20 and never talked to anybody about high school hockey in Minnesota older than 20? I don't know.

Lee
We should have a MN High School Hockey History 101 class for for new posters, so we may avoid tragedies like this.

At one time (and it may still exist) they had a guide for newbies at the uscho.com. Time permitting, I'm going to see if I can find it. There may be stuff there which can be used here.

Only questions are, will they read it? Will it make a difference? I don't know.

When newbies make a dumb comment (going to happen), we can just post the link for them and tell them to read it before making a fool of themselves.

He posted yesterday morning in the Memories thread.

Here's Karl (sounding like Goldfishdude, referring to himself in the third person).

Karl was trying to get work done tonight, and should probably get a lot done over the next two days. He has a decent amount of work to do over break, and after his experiences with the past two state tourneys, he knows that not much work will get done over the latter half of this week.

So he is spending the evening watching depressing Spanish-language movies, though he will be popping into the forum from time to time.

I understand.

Get work done before you have fun.

I bet you're watching 7AA finals and not Spanish movies though.

Karl, did you get the chance yet to watch the copy I made? Did it play okay?

I think the DVD player in our living room needs a cleaning. Or replacing.

Weather forecasters are hedging their bets all over the place on where the storm will hit. We could have thunder snow here on Wednesday. Cool!

Oddly it didn't work in our DVD player here, though the thing is ancient. It works just fine in my computer, though. Not sure if it's the disc or the player or some compatability issue.

But yeah, I have watched it (the last few minutes several times). :D And I may need to watch it again after that depressing movie. (Spoiler: everyone dies.)

Late Tuesday running into Wednesday is the remaining forecast, Lee.

In addition, late Friday into Saturday may have some accumulating precipitation as well.

Same here--I'll be watching the morning session, then taking a shuttle out of Duluth at 5:00. A is a fun little warm-up act, but not really something I'd spend money on, and I can only handle so much Phil Housley commentary...
