#4 Eagan vs Moorhead

Eagan has 4 great defensemen, great depth and good overall speed.
Moorhead great goalie. Average offense. Experience.

I like Eagan 3-2.

The stage will be a little too big for Eagan to handle here. Moorhead is tournament tested and that experience will be the deciding factor. Moorhead 3
Eagan 1

Moorhead 2-1. With all the drama that Moorhead has had this year they need something to take the focus off it

Have seen both play this year. Zajac for Eagan can really go, plays tough and gritty too. Love watching him..I think Eagan is better team but Moorhead is tested on big stage. Spuds 4-2.

Hey.... HHF... I am pulling for your Eagan squad, but since you know how bad I am at predicting scores, I will be doing this.... :-# =; :-$ [-(

Eagan is tough and the goalie is stone cold. I don't know if Moorhead plays against competition like Eagan in that nice little section they have up there. Eagan by 2 but anything can happen.

Their "nice little section" aside, they have played Wayzata twice, Jefferson, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Centennial, Duluth East, Grand Rapids & Hill-Murray. Their schedule is one of the toughest in the state, year in and year out if you would've paid attention or taken the time to look at their schedule... and Bodeker's save % during the regular season doesn't even come close to Bitzer's.

Likely to be a tough, phsical and gritty battle. Eagan seems to always keep thing close so I'd expect a low scoring game. You have to go with the spuds goal tending in this kind of game. Moorhead in a real close one.

Well, Eagan is the better team. Anything can happen, even the "Spuds" winning. I guess what I'm saying is Eagan should be favored. They are rated #4 in the state. Experience means very little when you are talking 17 year olds, most have never been to the State.

StayAtHomeD.......you should do your homework.
These "Spuds" have been watching their Idols play high school hockey at the Excel since they were born. This will be Moorheads 12th time to state in the last 19 years, so yes they have experience. I dont doubt Eagan is a very good team, otherwise they wouldnt be here. But to be Favored because Eagan has the number 4th seed out of 8....well Ask Edina how the #1 seed in 09 did against the SPUDS!
11 State appearances, (7) 2nd place finishes, (2) 3rd place and (2) 6th place..........where will this team fall.....that is yet written!
Thats Mr. Potatohead to you!
