I think this is a great idea. It's an NHL 94 mod, right?

The rosters and ratings for all AA teams are finished. Teams are rated based on their seed and players are rated based on regular season stats. It's not an exact science, but it's taken way more work than what I did last year (all players have highest possible ratings). The other difference so far, is that I've rated goalies lower than usual. This will make for some more unpredictable scoring and added excitement. All that's left is to change the banner colors in the selection screen and finish the rosters and ratings for the class A teams.

Hopefully some of you will be wanting to play this game online against other hs hockey fans. Could be a heck of a fun week!

Feel free to make Adam Johnson a 99 and Nick DeCenzo a 98!

Again Wolfpack....this stuff is SO COOL!

I have never downloaded an "emulator" thing before. What is it? How do you do it, etc? This game is a MUST have. Just like NHL 94!

This link should explain everything. Most people last year were able to get everything working just by following those instructions. You must follow them closely. Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot. I always appreciate the kind words. As far as this game goes, I'm hoping it blows last year's version out of the water. In my opinion, everything about the '11 version is far superior, especially due to the fact that teams are not even in this year's version. Game play will be way more realistic. Only a few guys will be able to fly like they did last year, which may be worse for some, but it definitely adds to the authenticity of the game.

Anytime, hard work like this deserves high praise! It sounds like you added a lot then to give it some unique characteristics then and adds parity to the game. It sounds amazing!

I've added some preview screenshots. Game will be released today around Noon. So far, the teams seem to have pretty accurate abilities. Simulated games throughout the playoffs have shown the higher seeds winning consistently. The game play is much more realistic than last year and it is much tougher to win as a lower seed in the playoffs, than in any version of NHL 94 I've ever played. It's also the most fun I've had playing any version of 94 since the original.

Outstanding! I love the accurate player ratings and weaker goalies, that will make for more scoring opportunities. My only criticism is that the players in the game do not match their real positions, i.e. defensemen listed as forwards and vice versa. But that doesn't take away from how cool this game is. I can't wait to test my Class A skills against the top AA teams. Thanks a million for creating this, it would be nice if everyone who likes it would donate a few bucks on your website, a little something for the effort, I know I will.

As far as positions go, the rosters should be accurate. Please let me know which players you're finding to be in the wrong positions and I'll fix it, then I'll keep updating the download link until everything is fixed.

For Hibbing:
1st line- C-DeCenzo W-Johnson W-Anderson D- M.Pechovnik D-Shafer
2nd line- C-Doherty W-Bestul W-Wherland D-D.Pechovnik D-Rowher
3rd line- C-Abrahamson W-Gooden W-Maki D-Newbauer

You have Bestul and Anderson as D, but they are forwards, and M. Pechovnik and shafer are forwards, but they are D's. The ratings look accurate, except I would have Doherty with a higher rating and Bestul with a lower rating.

http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/roster/show/ ... ason=42056

This is where I got all the info for positions and stats.

I basically did the ratings based on regular season point production, obviously you can edit the lines in the game. The way I set up the lines were so that the top 3 scorers are 1st, next 3 second, third 3 chk line...

I'll set up an updated file in a while..

Great! Thanks. I looked at that page and the positions are wrong, even the programs given out at Hibbing home games have the wrong positions, which is weird. Not sure why no one fixed it.

One quick question... I have a USB sega controller, but it isn't working on the tourney game. My computer recognizes its there, but I get no response on the game. Got any advice? Thanks

i don't really know. i'm assuming that you set up your controller in your emulator. if not, you have to do that. (You can set up your PC controller or keyboard within the game by going to "Options" and "Configure Keys") if you do that and it still doesn't work, then i don't have any advice.

Also, I've updated the Hibbing lines and positions. Hopefully that's right.

Perfect. Lines and ratings look great, Got my controller to work also, but I still lost to Lourdes 3-2 in OT. Time to sharpen my skills. This game is outstanding, congratulations on creating such a sweet game. I hope everyone can find a couple dollars to donate to your website, c'mon people, show some love.
