7A quarters #4 Duluth Marshall vs. #5 International Falls
What do you guys think of this matchup? Marshall is the favorite but these two haven't played each other at all in the regular season and both have been pretty up and down, it will all come down to who comes to play and puts together 3 solid periods. Should be one of the more entertaining quarterfinal matchups in single A. Also, it's in Duluth so hopefully the falls can shake off the long trip

Marshall 3
I Falls 2
Was a tied game from early in the second period when Marshall came out flat and got flatter and Ifalls scored. After that it was pretty much back and forth with several open nets missed on both ends of the ice, a few dumb penalties and a decent amount of hitting. Marshall got a loose puck at the point with about a minute left and put it past the Ifalls goalie's left foot. The last minute was pure, crazy hockey when Ifalls pulled their goalie. Shots were about 2:1 in favor of Marshall.
Got my $7's worth of entertainment from this game as well.
