District 16 Pee Wee B Third Place Game

I just want to give a shout out to the Hallock Pee Wee B team for their performance in the District 16 Tournament, especially their game against Roseau for 3rd place.

In this game Roseau scored first and Hallock tied it up at one and that's how regulation ended. The teams battled with that 1-1 tie until very deep into the 3rd overtime when Roseau was able to score and take the 2-1 win and the D16 #3 seed to the North Region.

But besides some amazingly gritty play by Hallock, their goalie absolutely played out of his head with 76 saves on 78 shots in the loss. The Roseau goalie had 34 saves on 35 shots for the win.

This performance by Hallock was even more unexpected as they played deep into overtime the day before on Saturday against eventual champion Bemidji before falling 4-3 and again the goalie had around 50 saves.
