Its a tough call who will go to state, but I have a feeling its gonna be Virgina vs Hibbing in the section finals like it has been the last few years. The jackets always seem to pull it together and make it to the DECC.
Marshall also outshot Virginia 2 to 1.

Maybe he's confused and thinks Central plays in the Wisconsin High School League. Then he may be right. :)

Put them behind another team that beat head to head? they already got screwed being put at 2. If section seeds are mainly based on section play Central should have been ahead of Hibbing, I'm just glad it won't make too much of a difference, they'll still play Hibbing in the Semis
welcome to section 7, range teams don't like Duluth and they make up the majority of the voters.

I'm sure Central and Marshall will enjoy their trips to the "neutral" range sites for the semis.
Marshall vs. Virginia Semi=7AA Finals Winner goes to state. Marshall has the best shot at going to state as a 4 seed then any other 4 seed in A of AA.

I think they should put the semis in hermantown or proctor. Yes its closer to duluth but the refs hate private schools anyware in the northland. Just slightly more fair for duluth.

I think the concern with those arena's is that they don't have enough seating for fans. I believe the MSHSL picks the refs for each game so I am sure they get sent all over the place. I know I lived next door to one and he was getting sent some decent distances to ref.

Nope. Hermantown and Proctor are way too small for the 7A semis.

Personally, I'd like to see them at the Amsoil but I think my eardrums would explode listening to the screams of "foul!" from people here.

The best place for the semi's would be on a Saturday all at Hibbing. I know it would be a home ice advantage for Hibbing, but what a great venue. How about the finals in IFALLS, then everyone would find out what it is like to travel 2-3 hours to a game, like I Falls does every game. Now for the games, don't take IFalls lightly, they will travel 2-3 hours for a game and you better be ready.

So because you have to travel 3 hours for games, you think we all should have to? If you don't like traveling, don't travel. Or better yet, move then you don't have too.

I like the way it is now, would be nice if Rapids were alittle better.

I think all top 5 teams have played some very inconistant games this year. But I do think seedings are pretty fair. Looking for an upset this year and put 7a back to a state competitor.

putting it in thief would be the dumbest thing ever. Its four five six hours from all of the contenders in 7A, and still over two hours from falls

Its hard enough to come to an agreed upon site within the section, we'll let that one be.
