If Proctor wins saturday that will likely put them at number 2 which greatly comes into play because I believe the only neutral site game is the championship at Cloquet

For some reason, I think I saw that the Section Final game is in Champlin Park. Friday game... not happy with this as it also coincides with UMD's last weekend home series vs. UNO. Wish it was a Thurs. like most Section Finals. Take a look at mshsl site.

I think Cathedral is the second best team in the section...but obviously it will be tough for them to get ahead of Rogers. The only ways I see Proctor getting ahead of Cathedral is if they beat Rogers on Saturday, which is a definite possibility...or if Cathedral dumps some real questionable games down the stretch.

Big weekend for Proctor. They just tied STMA 5-5 tonight and they have Rogers tomorrow night in Rogers

STMA was up 5-3 with 5 or so minutes left in game and Proctor tied it up within the last minute. STMA is without thier top scorer and thier top goaltender tonight also. Surprising.

After seeing how well they played EP, I have to predict Hermantown will be playing in March.

Section 5A seedings

1. Hermantown
2. Rogers
3. St. Cloud Cathedral
4. Proctor
5. St. Michael-Albertville
6. Moose Lake Area
7. Sauk Rapids
8. Mora
9. Legacy Christian
10. North Branch
11. Pine City
Although 6 and 7 could be flopped if they go by schedule strength instead of records.

Was using Minnesota scores which still has them as 7AA. I know they dropped a cooperative but thought they had to stay for this year.

4. Proctor
5. St. Michael Albertville
6. Princeton
7. Moose Lake
8. Sauk Rapids
9. Mora
10. Legacy Christian
11. North Branch
12. Pine City

Im surprised to see Sauk Rapids at the 9, I thought they would have been a 7 or around there because I see them as a better team than Mora and Moose Lake.

Extremely surprised that Proctor got the three over Cathedral.

Why is the section final at the Champlain Park Ice Forum? It has been at Cloquet for the last 4+ years. Anybody?

It is at Champlin Park if a southern team is in the championship ex. Rogers SCC but if it is Hermantown vs. Proctor it will be at Cloquet like it has been for a while.

Any chance Moose Lake can make some noise in the playoffs? The Cisar boys are something watch or so I hear.
