Grand Rapids-0
Int'l Falls-0

After 1

Falls Goalie Glen Walls is keeping the Falls alive as the current shots on goal are 16-2 in favor of Rapids.

Virginia/MIB-3
Eveleth-Gilbert-1

After 1

Virginia player took a huge cheap shot at the Eveleth goalie and knocked him on his head. This game is getting very intense!

6-2 now for Virginia. Boy, you ain't a kiddin'. The refs just gave the third penalty for "running into the goalie". A lot of hitting going on. I like!

Excellent internet feed BTW; good job iSportsNorth!

I agree. I think I've seen the goalies checked at least 2 or 3 times each now!

And 10-2....why does the coach keep playing the Hendrickson line? Why not let the younger lines take more shifts?

because garrett needs about 5 points to take over the state scoring lead. does it surprise anybody?

Virginia 11-2 Eveleth, final

Yeah, I forgot that Hendrickson's father IS the coach.

Okay, I am no expert. I have only coached state champions in three different sports in two different states: what do I know?

But the weakness of northern teams when they get to tournaments is their lack of depth relative to the larger Twin City schools. So, why NOT let the younger lines get more playing time when you have a large lead and are in running time? That would help around tourney time. But then, maybe the coach figures his team has no chance, so why not let the first line pad their stats?

But KUDOS to iSportsNorth for their excellent internet video coverage!

Kinda like in Hibbing's game against Greenway when Johnson and Decenzo were scoring in the third with a 7-0 lead??? Must be a pretty skewed view from that glass house you live in.

Not to mention the 3rd and 4th line got a total of 9 points tonight, that doesn't sound too shabby to me

Duluth Marshall beat Warroad 5-0 in their own rink. Shots were also way off on the scoreboard. Give the Warroad goalie credit, I think only twenty or so shots were recorded for Marshall but the score keeper missed at least 10-12 that I saw alone.
