Wilmar is one of the best feel good stories of the year in my opinion. The team started the year 1-5 before Christmas. Since then, they have not lost a game. While even if they won out and made it to state, I doubt they'd be ranked, they are doing a great job as of now. Brainerd is their next opponent above .500 to stand in their way of winning out. Brainerd, on the other hand, lost to Little Falls 5 games ago and would not want this blemish on their schedule.


This appears to be a great match up on paper.

Willmar has some decent players who can score. Brainerd has been playing pretty well the last few games and again last night against Moorhead. I say that Archibald, McLain and Pohlkamp are too much for them. I 'll take the Warriors 6-3

Was the game against Moorhead a Physical clean game with lots of penalties as it sounded like on the radio. Or was this a game filled with cheap shots, poor defense/goaltending/penalty kill?
