Two teams that are still undecided upon. BSM is good but with a loss to Edina and a EP blowout makes people question their strength, although the recent 8 or more goal games helps their situation. Holy Angels is one of those rising teams that people are still sketchy about. With a win over EP and a close loss to Edina, this team could be seen as the real deal and make a top 10 spot. Just maybe. This game will prove to the state where each other should be placed. Is Holy Angels an underrated team or are they where they should be? Is BSM too high on the charts or are they a powerhouse this year? All i know is that this will be a great game.

I like BSM 7-3 in this one. Once BSM put Labosky, Moore, and Besse together they have been the best line around. BSM moves the puck so well and overall team speed is to much for the Stars.

I believe BSM wins by one goal.

However, this won't disguise the fact that the Red Knights lack what it takes to get out of section 6AA.

DIsagree, on their own ice the STARS are real good. Edina squeaked out the win after AHA lost their top two D. STARS win this one by 2.....IMO

Stars have this one, hands down. Home ice, rested, seniors are the lock.

I was looking for some, but couldn't find it either.

It was a good, entertaining barnburner. Both teams have a few forwards, young and older, who are fun to watch. The defenses need some work, and they're also both pretty reliant on their top 2 lines, though the GWG did come from a less-used BSM player. The BSM powerplay is great at scoring, but needs to work on not being scored upon.

Both teams are good, and they've shown they can beat other top teams. But I expect both coaches saw plenty of things that need some improving before they go through their respective sections...

No one posted the final.
BSM 8
AHA 6
Shots were a lot for BSM and less than 20 for AHA.
BSM had, I thought 4 ppg, but someone said there were 5. If AHA stays out of the box they win. AHA had 2 short-handed and one ppg.
BSM looked real fast, but they have taken on the play like Edina and crash the net causing a lot of cheap shots on goalies and retaliation from the other team.
In section 6, they do not make it to the finals. I see Wayzata vs Minnetonka.

How about section 2AA; who's going to be in the finals, Zamman? :D

Another close one for AHA. A high scoring one! AHA just can't squeak by some of their big games...

They need to fix that come sections. The good thing is they still have time to figure things out in their defensive zone (their achilles heel this year).

Right now I see the sections as:
Edina
AHA
Burnsville
Jefferson
After that I am not sure what the teams will be. Whatever happens, AHA will need Chanhassen to be matched with any other team in the sections because I do not know if there is anymore oil for AHA to squeak by them again....But I bet they can find some.
The possibility for Edina to lose to Jefferson is there, although I do not see it happening.
I always pick my team but if we face Burnsville they will want some revenge from the OT loss in the Scwans. AHA will need to stay out of the box in order to win.
My real prediction is AHA will win this section, even if they have to face Edina. AHA has come up short on Edina in the last three years for sections and Edina squeaked out the win this year at AHA and last years tie.
This is there time....

You are worried about Chanhassen, yet pick your team to win the section. Hmm?

Did you see what happened to them against Chanhassen this year? That is all I am saying....
Chanhassen plays AHA twice this year. Both games are AHA 3 Chan 2 in OT.
AHA dominates both games in all categories and squeaks out the win both times. Some teams always give you a hard time, and everyone knows beating someone three times in a year is tough.

Beating somebody 3 times is not that tough. I would rather play a team that we defeated twice that a team that beat us twice.
