Mahtomedi's lack of effort

Post by headinjury »

Mahtomedi seems to have the talent but sure lacks the effort by some of the players and more so the coaching staff.

Effort is certainly a significant part of "talent". You point fingers at the coaching staff, but they have back-to-back appearances at state. Where is the senior class in terms of point production and leadership?

Looking at tonights stat sheet on hockey hub Mahotmedi outshot South St Paul by a margin of amost 3:1, but came up with a 5-1 loss. Mahtomedi only scoring when the game was pretty much over.

Noticed the Mahtomedi back up goalie has played the last 3 games including tonight. Is Marshall hurt?

I am sure Tartan would like to capitalize on this lack of effort and a struggling back up goalie to sweep the Mahtomedi squad this season.

BY NO MEANS IAM I POINTING FINGERS, I FEEL THE REASON WE HAVE TWO BACK TO BACK AT STATE IS OUR PLAYERS: ZERN,WOHLERS,MARSHALL AND ADAMS. WE HEARD THAT WE HAVE THE BEST COACHES IN THE STATE IN THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR BUT THE NEVER ENCOURAGE THE KIDS DURING THE GAME. YES SAWYER OUR GOALIE IS HURT AND ROCCO HAS PLAYED WELL UNTIL TONIGHT. I JUST THINK THAT WE NEED UNFOLD THE COACHES ARMS AND LIGHT A FIRE UNDER A FEW PLAYERS THAT ARE A BNIT TO COZY ON THE FIRST LINE.
