The Top 5 could get even messier after Saturday, looks like Hill Murray has the only virtual lock against Henry Sibley. Good luck Karl!

I am pretty sure of what I will do at the top, though. No sneak previews, but that statement should give you a hint.

It's a bit crazy that Eagan lost to a team that lost to Prior Lake. That's just the sort of year it's been. But with Eagan giving the team right ahead of them (Burnsville) a good game tonight, it shouldn't hurt them too much. And they do play PL themselves on Saturday...

Burnsville suddenly looks pretty good ranking-wise, though I'm not sure I'll put them as high as I logically could.

Can we get a bump for the best defesive team in the state Maple Grove! I have them at
#6. I know everyone points to the fact that Maple Grove lost to EP 6 to 0 but they were flat and the eagles played there best game of the season no question. Let's move the crimson up were they belong, or at least in my book.

Hmmm, guess we could start one of those short chains saying Prior Lakes is the best team in state...Prior Lake over BJ over Eagan EP, etc, etc...

They've suffered recent losses to injury and such and have a few JV players filling those spots. The last few years they've gone through a January swoon.
I too have noticed their January swoons the past two years. And though most on the Edina-Wayzata game thread are picking Edina, some by large margins, I'd note that Wayzata has given Edina 4 of its last 8 losses. I would not be at all shocked to see a mini-tailspin from the Hornets in the near future, though they'll still be there in the end.
The swoon is in full swing; looks like the green bees need to drop a bit; the Edina Brain Trust has these guys floundering; it will be interesting to see if all the roster juggling is going to pay off with a late season run. Burnsville is looking pretty good in that section right now.
