The more I hear about the Brainerd coach the more comical the situation has become.

Players do what they are taught by the coach or what the coach allows the players to do.

Granted a lot of rumors but fact or fiction ?
-calling a Flyer a primadonna at the end of the game hand shake.
-arguement with a LF grandfather after the game and spouse had to hold him back
-Telling Cooch that his kids need to" grow a pair."
- zero control of players or himself after a loss
- Ask Grand Rapids
-Ask St Cloud Tech

I was there as well. I do not know what was said in the handshake line, I was not on the ice. I was closer to the "argument". There perhaps there should have been more restraint by the coach, and perhaps the LF participant should not have even been involved. I guess I have never comnsidered chirping the opposing kids or coach, before , during or after the game. I did not hear what was said between the coaches. I do know that neither of them were quiet and were dishing it out at each other. As far as control after a loss, I watched the handshake line, seemed like it was pretty tame. I know one Brd player did not participate and he was told by his coach not to as he had been one of the players in question.

All in all, entertaining game for the most part. LF has a nice team. One that should make it out of their section to the X. I am not sure that they are going to have great success there. This team is not as good as their last state entrant. None the less, a decent team. Brainerd did themselves no favors in taking 4 3rd period penalties. Were there penalties missed in the game? Absolutley, on both sides, but that is sports as a whole. Brainerd has a few nice players but just are not very deep. Good luck the rest of the way to both teams.

Seems only 2 were out last night, glad to know that only 2 were injured bad enough that they were unable to play.
