Someone already said it was the kid from Farmington. # 10 Roseville looked good to me.

The best peewee A player in Minnesota is Alex Romulus. Alex is a true leader. He is an all-around player who has rocket speed, amazing skating ability, great hands, a fast, hard and accurate shot, and sees the ice better than anyone who has ever played the game. Romulus has great physical presence. At age 12, he is six feet tall, 170 pounds.

Romulus treats every practice like a tryout; he never quits a drill. And, Romulus always listens to his coaches. He is universally liked by his teammates and their parents. In a 36 minute game, Romulus is on the ice for 39 minutes. This season, he has 150 goals, 225 assists, and his goals against average in the 10 games where he played goalie is 3.14. At the end of every game, Romulus drives the Zamboni and then shoots one thousand pucks.

Romulus plays for the Wolfpack; he is coached by his dad, Wolfie. He has DI offers from North Dakota, Boston College, and Vatican City. Romulus is projected to be the number one pick in the 2016 NHL draft. When he is not on the ice or at the rink, Romulus likes to play with his pet hamster. Charlie Carlson is by far the best. Has a varsity like shot that can beat any goalie he wants to score on. His coach limits his play because he doesnt want the other team to feel bad about themselves. Stickhandling reminds me of a young Sidney Crosby and i believe that he will have the same effect in the pros as the kid. His record this season has been 10 goals in a game......

who cares.. its peewees..

Congrat's to Cottage Grove and the Wolfpack on developing a franchise player at such a young age. I've seen some of the video of Romulus on YouTube and it is amazing. For those of you that aren't aware of this Romulus's little brother Nero is even better and is lighting up the Woodbury/Cottage Grove Mite league. The kid is 9 and he as a 102 flex on his TotalOne!

Hey You Guys

Don't furget about Lon Cheney IV. He is from a small town that just got added on to Distruct VI.

Just because he is on the B1 team, dont think he is not good. He is. There is no A team. just the B1 and two B2 and a C.

Lon is So Good that he usually gets two assists for each goal his team scores. On the same play- he is That Good.

Once in awhile he assists his own goal. Every other game or so.

This kid is going to Go Places.

ONE of the best pee-wee players Ihave ever seen was Jordan Leopold.

Gigi Marvin was prety good, too.

This year I cannot name the best I have seen, but I have seen alot of good ones.

Please do us coaches a favor and keep the glorifying of specific PeeWee age players to a minimum. Anytime a player is mentioned by name on this site it most often is used to make fun of that player OR used by that player to make sure his teammates know how good he is. Just unhelpful and contributory to a hockey culture that pushes people out of or away from hockey rather than desiring to join.

My two cents... which I know will be freely ignored because so many people like hearing that their player is great and all the $$ you are spending is keeping your kid on track for that scholarship.

I think a better title would have been "Who are some of the better Peewee A Players". And to those who don't think its appropriate or mock it I would echo old goalie and ask when is it appropriate ? seems Peewee is OK but not younger.

Some people find hockey entertaining to watch and like to watch some of the better players, even if they are peewee age.

Concerned Hockey Coach - This thread isn't trashing anyone so I agree that should be off limits everywhere. As far as using this thread to brag ... well I'm guessing these kids would do the same even if it weren't mentioned in this thread and perhaps there parents and coaches could remind them about humility. I don't think one of the bigger reasons kids are leaving hockey is because their teammates are telling them how great they are. they would just give them couple of these

People should just use numbers. IE- #23 from Edina. #6 from Wayzata. Etc..... #1 from wherever. Don't use names...don't call a kid out by name. Lame.

Children under 13 are protected by the Children's Online Privacy Act. Accordingly, unless you are identifying kids over the age of 13 or you are the child's parent, you are putting the Youth Hockey Forum at risk by specifically identifying a young player by name.
