What you will hear from anyone at East who would have any say in this happening is that "it would serve no purpose." A win is expected, so why play the game. A loss gives them a loss to a Class A team and a local one at that. The only teams they play are AA teams, public teams, section teams, Central and Superior.dirtracing17 wrote:hermantown playing east?? HAMHGr8ness wrote:I realize that. He's probably jealous. But, I still think they could play them. Are they scared or why isn't there a game? It would be a good game and there could be a great rivalrykarl(east) wrote: dirtracing is a range guy...us East fans have no reason to hate Hermantown.
Why add Marshall and Hermantown to your schedule every year when you can play section foes Cambridge-Isanti and Princeton? Why play teams in sell out venues that you would beat most years when you could beat up on teams at the bottom of your section? Why play Superior when there's better MN teams to play?
Well, section teams get you ranked in sections and beating Superior is cool. Bout all I can think of.
But yeah, I agree that a team that hasn't had a losing record (I think ever) in a while is probably the worst program ever. Great comment.

Well, they did go 4-6-1 in 1950-51 and 3-4 in 52-53.HShockeywatcher wrote:But yeah, I agree that a team that hasn't had a losing record (I think ever) in a while is probably the worst program ever. Great comment.
But yeah, that's it. 57 winning seasons in a row, with #58 to be clinched in the next week or so, hopefully.
can do...
