Tell whoever is responsible for updating the score sheet to get out of the Legion and get the scores updated. Don't worry the bar will still be open when you get back.

Congrat's to Eden Prairie on a great run. Up NorthMom...fill in the blanks on the Blaine/Edina game. Why would Edina forfeit... injuries, poor officiating, need to get on the road back to Edina?UpNorthMom wrote:Championship game:

Third place game:
Blaine wins after Edina forfeited in the second period (Edina was up 4-3 when they forfeited)

I didn't see the game but am hearing a lot of chatter . . . I'll leave it to others who were there to provide analysis. I did see a few kids and parents who did not agree with forfeiting.
Congratulations to Eden Prairie for a nice win!
And thanks again to everyone who came up to Roseau . . . safe travels.

Roseau Bantam A tournament
Who goes to Roseau to forfeit? . . . Edina in a 3rd place game getting knocked around. CRAZY!
Re: Roseau Bantam A tournament
Well said Old Timer! But, I do feel just a little bit bad for the players and parents that were in disagreement with the coach for forfeiting. You drive 350 mile one way to play in a tounament with great teams, in a historical hockey town, and end up going home during the middle of your final game???? Go figure!hockeyoldtimer wrote:Who goes to Roseau to forfeit? . . . Edina in a 3rd place game getting knocked around. CRAZY!

Wow, I never heard of that happening before, but if a coach feels his team is at risk for significant injuries and the refs can't control the game, then maybe it was the right thing to do.

Roseau Bantam A
What does that teach the kids? When it gets tough just quit? I wonder if this would have happened if this was the championship game!
