Woodbury black wins the award for cheapest team in the tourney. I've never seen a team that obvious in trying to hurt an opponent. It all starts with the coach best I could tell. Even the refs were trying to determine what there options were besides just calling penalties. Anyone have any info on this team?

Looks like they were not the only team in tourney with some discipline issues:

Over the 3 pool games, penalty minutes for the following teams:

WBL 74
Edina White 59
Woodbury Black 52

OVER PRICED

At $750/per team and $25.00 for a weekend pass to see 3 games, this tournament was a joke! Edina should be embarrassed for charging so much. It cost more to see a PeeWee game then it does to see a high school game!

Championship

Edina White over Edina Green
Good call. Those tiny little LA Kings took it to both of them. Not the same teams as last year-not even close. Wayzata coasted through most of the game but pulled it out it out to win it in the end. Those Kings were fiesty though.

First off, I'd like to say my favorite team to watch was Cottage Grove, never gave up all tournament. Played Wayzata very eveningly tieing them Saturday and only to lose to them the next morning in a shootout where it can go either way.

For the championship game...it was a very slow paced game with both teams being pretty much equal. I wouldn't say Wayzata rolled over them at all. Plus pretty sure they just squeezed out a goal in OT for a 2-1 win.

In regards to the LA kings and the Edina Games...One game was lost as Edina White had like almost 30 penatly minutes and basically dominated them when at Full Strength.....and the second team Edina Green lost to them in a shootout Sunday morning 2-1... and literally had it in the LA King's zone almost the entire second period only to not get rewarded with any goals.

All the LA kings games looked slow. They were well coached and disciplend. Cottage Grove is underrated, Wayzata was up and down. They turned it on when they had to, but found a way win. Several teams could have won.
