That one to two-foot snowfall and near blizzard conditions predicted for the Twin Cities might have something to do with it. Blizzard Warnings posted for a large portion of Minnesota. Up here we only have 3-9 inches predicted.

Latest forecast was for 6-12, but another problem is the freezing rain which will precede the snow. Windy too with gusts up to 40. Not a good time.

Mayo at Albert Lea postponed to 1-29-11

Century vs. John Marshall is still on, but guessing will be postponed tomorrow.

Right now it's raining after snowing pretty heavily the past 3 to 4 hours. I'd say we have about 3 or 4 inches on the ground now with freezing rain starting and more snow to come. Expected total in Rochester is 10+.

Might be easier to list the games which aren't canceled. :)

DNT is reporting that Duluth East athletic events are canceled so I'm assuming this includes East at Princeton.

Game is on and watch it on DirecTV channel 613!! Virtually no new snow in the Duluth area, but winds have picked up and the temps are dropping. Go Dogs vs. NW Missouri and vs. Gophers later tonight in puck.
