Turcotte Stickhandling

Post by goalie30 »

Has anyone attended the Turcotte Stickhandling School? They have a 3 day clinic coming up over Christmas break and I was wondering if it would be worth it to put my kid in it. He is a first year Pee Wee and I'd rate his stickhandling skills as below average compared to the rest of his team (Pee Wee B). Other skills are solid.

Any opinions on Turcotte?

This is an outstanding school especially for Squirts and PW's.

Would recommend the Christmas break one and again in the summer.

Made a big difference for my sons.

Great time of year for it to so they get back on the ice with their team so they get to get ice reps in immediately following. Vs some camps in summer than time off and muscle memory forgets.

Very very good.... one camp won't turn him into the next Crosby .... but its a start. Hopefully he learns correctly at camp (applies himself) and then takes its back to practice/pond/garage for reps. Then do a full summer session, you will absolutley see improvements. My son and daughter have both done these a few times and are very strong puck handlers because of it.
