Now you're trying to dilute it even more and come up with elite teams? The Miracle couldn't come up with good teams, how are they going to come up with elite teams? How many coaches has there been at the '99 level since it started? I count roughly five in four years -- including interim. There is one name that is behind a lot of this. I can't really mention his name, but he's not a fair, honest man. Why do you think that program has been in a constant state of turnover since its inception? This guy isn't even a hockey guy. He's an overzelous dad who is living the dream through his son. Again I ask, if they had trouble putting together "open" teams, how in the world are they going to have "elite" teams and "open" teams?

I'd do a little digging and asking a lot of questions before I put my kid in that program.
Well said and couldn't agree with you more, I'm assuming the Kingpin you are talking about is the same classy guy that gave a ref an elbow to the chest after an Easton Cup game?? [-X

Anyways, you're observation of the Miracle program could also be used with many AAA programs, lets get real here the majority of these programs are B level talent and B level coaching at best.

These programs are one thing and one thing only, its about filling the rosters to make money!!
Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to see "the man" at Miracle go postal when a kid on the other team took a shot after the whistle. I understand that, under the circumstances, there was no way that that kid that shot the puck was going to change the outcome of the game. This guy is not a good guy. He'd make an excellent used car salesman over on Lake Street.

I kind of feel bad for the rest of the folks he's bringing down with him. On paper, they should be dressing good teams. Hell, they have everything at their disposal. I can't argue about the price. That's a good deal. But you get what you pay for. I promise he will find a way to screw this up. I'm absolutely dumbfounded he's even involved. I wonder how much of his "work" time is spent on manipulating, tweaking, going behind backs, spends time on the phone, making promises he cannot keep, all while he's supposed to be in a position there at the SR. There has to be some kind of a conflict there, or maybe it's just a free-for-all over there and he just does what he wants and is accountable to no one.
What level does this guy coach at? Sounds like a coach to avoid..... One thing a parent needs to do is look at a coach as an individual subcontractor, one level a coach could be great and then another could leave something to be desired. Too much credit is also given to these so called "top programs".

Is it the............ Coaching, program, or where all the top kids flock to that makes a good team? These kids bounce around like mentioned earlier with the 2000 Miracle.

Hard to choose between top training and top team.... Looks like the Miracle is making a push for both.

There are not so good individuals at all of the programs.

I talked to them last night. 98's are coached by Rob Loftus [ Elk River varsity coach] I forgot to get 01,02, coaches. Has anyone heard of Ludek Bukac ?
