Raging Bulls Program

Post by The Bone »

Heard a rumor that the Raging Bulls are defunct, and did not complete the summer AAA program. Can anybody fill in the blanks or dispel the rumor?

I hope this is not the case - Just want to know what the real story is.

They are not defunct, but have changed from the raging bulls to the Twin Cities Bulls. The old owner, whom managed the Raging Bulls, will no longer have anything to do with the program. Sean Molin, and his wife will be taking full control of the program, and tryouts will be held Thurs, Friday, Sat. Sun. of MEA weekend. People are looking forward to it, should be great.

Is there a new website? Will it be part of showcase, or is that just a rumor flying around?

okay let's be honest hear, sinces I've got you on the line. I (Sean Molin) am revamping our website, marketing, and advertising. There will be flyers ready in two days that will be sent out to local rinks. We also are able to send them p.d.f. over e-mail, if you would like one just for the info, e-mail me at molsea@bethel.edu We are working through Media Junction in Centerville. They have already designed our new logo, and are working on a website that's not templated by NGIN, or PUCKMASTERS, so it should be different and cool. It should be up and running in about 2 weeks.

Anyways, my wife is a detail freak and will be the best manager around. I will be able to focus on developing the kids, which is my number one passion, more than winning(although we are starting to get better talent and may just start doing that next summer). We are a non-parent coached organization, I think one of the first around across the entire organization. We will be adding parent coaches as dooropener/systems reinforcers, so if anyone you know would like to help out contact me a.s.a.p. We already have quality candidates at every level except 02, U10 Girls, 95, and 99.

The program will run June, July, and until the end of August. and will consist of 2 parts. The focus will be training hard up until a month before tryouts.

1. T.C. Bull Intensity (25 players) --- 2 day a week (daytime) all skills hockey camp focusing on making a jump in skills leading into tryouts. Cost: 800$ for 44 hours of practice ice, a practice jersey, and a 4 week long Dryland Boot Camp leading into the summer season (May).

2. T.C. Bull Competition (15 invite players)--- Will practice in the evening 27 hours with the 15 invite players only. Fast paced re-grouping, systems walkthrough, forecheck, zone entry plays, offensive zone plays..... This is for our invite team to have the best opportunity to play well in tournaments. Will include 6 scrimmages throughout summer. Invite players will automatically be enrolled in Intensity all skills camp.

Total Cost 1650$, Total Hours: 71 (not including tournament games). The cost went up a little to enable invite team to practice alone for 27 hours. Anyone interested in having me come to their games, or interested in tryouts please e-mail me molsea@bethel.edu, or feel free to call my cell @ 651-470-9394.

We will be keeping two of our non-parent coaches for next year, but will be hiring two more (one lady for the girls program) next year to help run our 11 teams. Please contact me if you, or someone you know would be interested in coaching (non-parents). We pay between 15 and 17 dollars an hour. Thanks,

Coach Sean Molin
