To Much Hockey?
I play year round hockey wether it's Elite, Triple AAA, Showcase, Camps, Ect. I'm one of those people that when someone asks you to play for them I can't refuse. I'm always on the ice and it seems to drive my mom nuts and sometimes it seems like hockey is starting to get boring. The expense is one thing because the cost of hockey is way higher when you do it year round than in the winter. But the main thing is when do you draw the line and say enough is enough your playing way to much hockey?

If you listen to the experts (which nobody does) playing the same sport all year can cause repetitive use injuries and/or burnout. I have seen a number of good hockey players leave the game because of burnout.
In my younger days I remember playing different seasonal sports and I couldn't wait for the next season for something new. Sports including hockey are fun but practices can still be a grind and we all have our bad days that make getting the equipment on a little bit harder.
The current, soon to be ex-head hockey coach for MN Hockey recomments hockey players take August off from hockey but as we all know not many do.
Good luck.
