Word on the streets - OMG is looking to fill some non-parent coaching positions at the same levels. javascript:emoticon('') we will see how that goes with their great reputation as an association.

They should really be focusing on parent coaches in OMG as they consistently have all the answers.

The Andover A pee wees went to state this year and I know their coach was a non-parent and I believe it was his first year there. One and done? He's gone already?

You may get fewer applicants if you're going to put up posts like that.

With stupid remarks like that, people still wonder why the coach was one and done!

The most stupid remark was deleted from his post - something about forgetting the kids at the end of the bench. If it's anything like our association, likely a board member or two that didn't think their kids got in on the powerplay enough during the regional tourney. If that's the case, Andover will have a parent coach next year - who wants to get no credit for helping the team to state, then get bit because a couple parents were wearing out the stop watch in the stands.

I know IF Forest Lake made it to state, we would do whatever we could to keep said coach. [at least I hope we would] What up Andover ???

A Pee Wee coach

Post by HuskiesHockey »

I would say Andover was willing to do whatever they could to keep said coach. The rumor was that he wanted to move up to Bantams with the players he coached at Pee Wees which would have displaced a quality Bantam coach. He's a good coach but I think he's moved around quite a bit over the past few years. I don't think it is fair to blame his move on Andover or it's parents.
