A few other things for you 95s.
At 15 each District has a team. There are 12 Districts.
At 16 and 17 each section has a team and there are 8 sections. The teams are made up of A and AA players from the sections.
At 15 they select 102 to go to St. Cloud.
At 16 and 17 they select 54 to play in the "Final 54" Tournament.
They aren't really teams of kids they send to the NY summer festivals as it's formatted similar to St. Cloud and the kids are mixed up on various teams for the week so most don't play together.

Night train,
A couple of corrections, first there are only 12 districts that will form teams for the festival. Second there a 6 teams of 17 for St Cloud or 102, 54 forwards, 36 defenseman and 12 goalies. You might also want to add that when speaking of the 16 and 17 group the sections include both A,AA and in the past Jr Gold players have also tried out and made the final 54.
