Anyone know how my Jr. Steelers did against the 99 Torspo team this morning? Should've been a good one.

Nobody cut any corners for the the 01 machine with chi town selects in a tight pool play game. I don't have a kid playing this week-end, but, It looks like another top-notch Mn summer hockey tournement. Be very interesting to see who wins what!

If by "he" you are referring to Mr. Koethe(?), I was not at the game and did not hear of any issues. The Jr steelers, at least at that age, had a very strong team last year. If they are anything like that this year, the Torspo losing 5-2 is not a reason for anybody to go off the deep end, whether it be a coach or a parent.

Is that a misprint 22 to 0 in the 00machine game? That bullsh-t coach needs his head checked! I don't care how it got to that point or how old the kids are you can slow them down.[ scoring]

Predictions???

Post by Wisconsinguy »

Here is my prediction -

One of the biggest jerks in MN hockey will open his big mouth (again) during the tournament and finally some parent will do what many of us have refrained from - he'll shut it for him.

People will will whisper in hushed tones about how disappointed they are this happened, while inside they will be jumping for joy that someone finally beat the crap out of one of the main reasons why they hate going to hockey games - having to see this little loser puff out his chest, suck in his gut and act like a tough guy.

I know this is a little crazy as predictions go, but what they heck, a guy can always dream.

It was actually a lot closer than the score would indicate.

Just when I think I've heard everything, you go beyond and say something even more insane. So was it more of a 17 to 0 game?

Selkirk Manitoba, but my guess is there are alot of Winnipeg kids. I was told the 98 Mustang team that was once quite strong went their own ways with many of the kids endind up on the Lightning Elite and on the Steelers
