Meltdown Schedules

Post by Cardiackid »

Has anyone seen the schedules for the Meltdown or know where to find them. The website says they will be available two weeks prior and as of yet nothing.

Settle down, this is Easter weekend. It will more than likely be out on Monday.

Just figured the shear amount of money being made by the tourney the least they could do is hold true to the promise that schedules would be out no less then two weeks prior. Sorry didnt mean to wake the "Alliance" giant. Will my poor little AAA team be excluded now that I have riled everyone by asking a question?

From having previous experience with kids playing in the Meltdown.....if they say the schedules are going to be released by a certain date, you can bet that it will take an extra 7-10 days beyond that date before you actually see them.

My guess is that they haven't filled all spots in every age bracket yet, and need more time.

The Chi-town Shuffle brackets for the 96s look like they have some familiar teams... The meltdown couldn't compete?

One MN team in the 96 level of the Chi-Town Shuffle, da Blades, and the other teams don't include a lot of familiar names from previous Invite Meltdowns. Someone is asking for Warrior Cup schedules. Is that the same weekend as the Invite Meltdown? I just looked at the Warrior Cup Web site (Magicians) and it says they're full at all levels. Even if it isn't the same weekend most organizations try and spread out their tourneys. It's definitely impacted the Meltdown which used to be the one and only spring option.

Some of these teams USED to compete in the Meltdown like the Edge, RBK, Legacy and LSS.

Wow, that "Alliance" has sure paid off for Bernie, Bob and the Boys, huh?? Karma sure is a bee-atch. :D

Is there not enough Bauer/Easton/HBTC/CCM teams to fill the 96 Invite or are they all in the Open tournament?

Most of these teams would have played in the Meltdown, it was THE tournament in the spring. The Warrior Cup would not even exist without the "ALLIANCE"...neither would the Caribou Cup...

M&G nailed it...Karma.

i hereby name the Warrior Cup the leader in the clubhouse for spring trnys. Congrats on your hard work, and it is shown by the number of out-state teams entering. MN teams can play each other anytime. Will Showcase bounceback or Meltdown?

Which tourney announced its date first? Ballsie move if the Warrior Cup purposely went head-to-head (really no sense to have it the next weekend, as few teams will play tourneys on back-to-back weekends). Unfortunatley for the Meltdown, if they chose the date knowing that the Warrior Cup was already on the schedule, it looks like they are simply trying to crush it.

Will Bernie be selling beer at the Stars & Stripes again this year?

Is that a typo, or is the 99 Machine really playing in the Warrior Cup?

Nope, you read it right...They're in it. BM bypasses the Meltdown to go down to Chicago, and then enters the Warrior Cup. How is that alliance thing working out for ya?

Since the MN Blades pulled out of the tournament after taking the trophy from Bernie's hands at the 99 level, there is no one left to drink all the beer!

Nobody has any pre-tourney smack? Have we become civilized? I was really looking forward to HD41 predicting a '00 Torsp beatdown of the Monopoly.
