There is no SEEDING TOURNEY for adv. 15s.. Each district handles their own seeding games. One away and one at home.

Why would he need to move Adv. 15 discussion to youth forum? Look at the Adv. 15 rosters and some districts have 9 or 10 players who played High School this year.

Sorry about that.

And I was going to ask it be labeled, 15, 16 or 17, to avoid confusion, but see you did say D6 and that would mean Advance 15.

the section 4 17's should be pretty solid. they have a few top players in:
fleming-sta
becker- hill
bahe- hil
kroska- sta
birkinbine- wbl
JD contronio (sp?)- hill
schurhammer- sta
mccarver- nsp
hinz-nsp
schulze- hill

i dont know if they have had there try-out yet but these players will probably be on the team

North Branch with two.... I'm a believer in the Advanced system.

After seeing all of the rosters, which sections are favored to be in the championship games for the 16's and 17's?

Some very good teams here. Here are my thoughts for the A16s without mentioning specific names:

Quarterfinals:

Section 2A vs 4A - Predicted winner - 4A

Section 3A vs 6A - Predicted winner - 6A

Section 1A vs 8A - Predicted winner - 1A

Section 5A vs 7A - Predicted winner - 7

Semifinals -
4A vs 6A - 4A

1A vs 7A - 1A

Finals - 1A takes down 4A.

17's-section 2A/AA looks to me to be the favorite.

The top 1/2 bracket of the 17's looks a lot tougher with three very strong sections going at it. Section 2A/AA and 4A/AA meet in round one (may be the best game of the 17's tournament) with the winner most likley squaring of vs. another very good team in section 6A/AA

I'd say 7A/AA should come out of the bottom 1/2

4A/AA is the favorite on Defense
6A/AA is the favorite on Forwards
2A/AA is the favorite on goaltending

Agree that 4A/AA vs 2A/AA will be fun to watch

My pick would be 7A/AA that is solid group for 17's.

Well, I was pretty close. The section 6 vs section 3 game I was wrong on (ended in OT with 3 winning). Other than that, its 1 vs 4 in the final.

For kicks and giggles, here is how tomorrow will go:

2 will beat 8 in the 7th place game
6 will beat 5 in the 5th place game
7 will beat 3 in the 3rd place game
1 will beat 4 in the championship
