Regions & State Tournament - Who pays?

Post by mnhkylvr »

I would like to find out if any associations fund their youth teams (boys or girls) advancing to Regions and State? By this I mean do they cover the tourney fee and or have any allowance of practice ice if a teams season is to progress to either of these tournaments. I would love to hear if this is allocated for or if it is up to the parents to fund? Thank you!

In our association it is up to the parents to fund regional/state tourney fees and any additional practice ice.

Our association funds both regions and state plus a predetermined number of invitational tournaments during the year depending on age group. I believe A peewee and A bantam get 4 paid tournaments and the B levels and girls get 3 paid for.
