Sometimes I have to wonder why they even let people like this in to the tournament...

Sitting at the Mahtomedi/ Warroad game, overheard a woman ask if the nets are smaller in High School than in the NHL.

The best might've been 206 chanting, We've got Bjugstad, with an immidiate response of seasons over by the Minnetonka students. 206 fires back with Mr. Hockey, "Skipper Nation" replies, we've got two:)

My favorite from the tourney was on thursday "Hey did you happen to catch sportscenter last night?" This was said with a New Ulm player in front of us. The best part about it was he turned around and gave us the good old middle finger.

"Please let me buy the giant cup of ice cream...I promise I won't spill it."

Falser words were never spoken.

(also, "Minnetonka is going to crush Edina")

Imagine how sad they would have been to play in a state tournament in a half empty arena. Or, imagine how silly they would have looked celebrating a win that never happened.

2 Mahtomedi kids were playing bubble hockey, one scores, kind of celebrates, another kid walking by says "Doesn't count, time expired."
The dad of the kids playing bubble hockey lost it, started yelling at the kid.

funny.
That's as good as it gets..... :D
I am from Medi and I think that is very funny as much as that hurts!!

Was this your first state tourney?

206 216 and every other section that takes it upon themselves to be the comedians of the tournament have been using the same chants for the past 2-3 years.

my moment from the living room couch was when one of the announcers said that when Gardnier stated playing pond hockey style during the hill murray game is when his team really started to loosen up and play hockey. they pump the kid all weekend like hes crosby than come up with a positive analegy for a puck hoggggggg. i have no idea where they get these guys but keep it coming cause its funny!!!!!!!
