WOW! Those folks up there in the EDINA of the north( so they think) can't be happy about losing to ST.Cloud.

I would have to say that although the teams are not as good overall as D6, I think this is the most evenly matched district tourney there is 1-8 are very close to each other. When #7 is Coon Rapids (thanks to FPP) and #6 is St. Cloud... I don't really see these as upsets.

Andover or Centennial's Season will end on Wednesday night, that is a shame for two teams who thought they would be fighting to go to state.

I've heard of kids leaving a program before they get to high school, but how about the kids that are leaving Coon Rapids that are already IN high school. I want to know what lame excuse they will come up with to explain why.

Shouldn't this question be posed over in the High School forum?

the rule states that they cannot play varsity sports for one year. maybe they just figure they will be on JV and then have great junior and senior years on a team that goes to state seemingly every year.

I don't mind if they leave, more playing time for my kid. I just want to know why?

I called one - the only phone number I have.

He said they wanted better coaching and a better program.

I guess when you look at where they are going, they should get it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't one of these players dad the A Bantam coach last year? If so, it doesn't say to much for him. First of all you have to make the team to get better coaching can't take it for granted they are a shoe in as I don't think they will be accepted by everyone with open arms. The Association they have been accepted to really don't need these players as they are already pretty deep. That doesn't mean they don't have a chance, but they will have to prove themselves and change there attitudes as I am sure some of them have been reading the previous posts regarding CR and I doubt if the want to put up with the baggage that comes with all of the players moving out
